In the Subjective Window, why do some of the statuses have the paragraph sign (¶) and others don't?

A Status with a paragraph sign (¶), indicates the portion of the note generated for that complaint will be a detailed note versus a brief note.  Detailed means the note will include both the Worse/Better and Related tab findings for the complaint.  The brief note will not include these findings.  Below is an example of the note generated for the same Headache complaint.  First with a status of Improved ¶.  Then with the status of just Improved:

Improved ¶

Subjective:  On today's visit, Mr. Doe reported there is a continuous improvement in the degree of his head pain.  He has also noticed occasional mild to moderate numb sensations with throbbing pain radiating to the right eye area.  There is aggravation of the level of headache by looking up and stress and a reduced level of headache by taking tylenol and resting.    Based on a pain scale from 1 to 10, the patient was asked to rate his current condition.  He rates his headache at 5.

Improved
