How can I organize my Imagecenter files into folders?

All files uploaded to the Imagecenter are uploaded to the Root Folder unless you are in the Patient or X-RAY Windows.

You can organize your images in the Imagecenter by creating folders and moving or copying files between the folders.

To Create Folders in Imagecenter

  1. Right-click on a blank space in the thumbnail view and click Folder View.
  2. The thumbnails will now be just the file names.
  3. Right-click on a blank space and click New Folder.
  4. A new folder will be created named 'New Folder' but you can and should rename it.
  5. Press Enter to save the new folder name.
  6. You may create as many folders as you like.

To Move Files to Another Folder

  1. Once you have created folders, you can copy or move files from the Root Folder to another folder.
  2. Right-click the file you want to move or copy.
  3. Choose Cut to remove the file from the Root Folder.
  4. Choose Copy to leave the file in the Root Folder and copy to another folder.
  5. Double-click the folder where you want to move or copy the file to open the folder.
  6. Right-click in the folder and choose Paste to paste the file in the folder.
