How do I add user logins for the EMR Suite Attendant?

You can, and should, define users with their own PIN numbers, as well as assign a PIN number to the Default User and Administrator account.  This can be done anytime in User Security.

User Security

Choose Start > Software Motif > User Security.

Add a new user

  1. Click the Add button.
  2. Enter an ID using letters and/or numbers.
  3. Enter the user's name.
  4. You may choose to enter a PIN (recommended).
  5. Click the Permissions tab and use the check boxes to define user permissions (optional).
  6. Click OK.

Edit Default, *SA, or existing user

  1. Choose on the user you wish to edit.
  2. Click the Edit button.
  3. You may change the Name, PIN, and/or Permissions as described in 'Adding a new user'.  You may not change the ID.
  4. Click OK to save changes

      Optional

      When adding or editing a user, you may click on the Permissions tab to permit or restrict access to certain areas of the programs.  The default allows all.                    Uncheck any boxes you want to restrict access for the user.

       Delete a User

  1. Choose the User you wish to delete
  2. Click the Delete button
